MORGANTOWN —
The West Virginia women’s basketball program will take part in a European tour this summer, traveling to France and Italy in August.
The NCAA allows programs to travel overseas as a part of an international tour every four years. In 2007, the Mountaineers went to Australia and participated in a five-game exhibition tour.
This year’s exhibition tour will cover Paris, South of France, Monte Carlo, Lake Como, Florence, Rome, Ancient Rome and Holy Rome. The Mountaineers will play a total of three games as part of the European tour with the first game against a French club and the final two against Italian Lega clubs.

Miles granted release from WVU
