PHILIPPI — Early Saturday morning, a house fire on Mouse Run Road in Barbour County claimed the life of at least one victim.
WBOY reports that the blaze started around 3:30 a.m. and there was no word on who the victim was or how the fire started as of Sunday morning.
Mouse Run Road is located between Phillipi and the Barbour County Fairgrounds. Volunteer dire departments from Phillipi, Junior and Belington all responded to the fire.
