The 2012 high school football season in Marion County is officially over.
Just a week ago, the Polar Bears and the Bees squared off during the annual 92nd cross-town rivalry game.
East Fairmont, a competitive 3-6 squad felt as if they had a chance of beating a 4-5 Polar Bear squad, however like years past, EFHS fell short once again.
With the season over and 16 seniors leaving, what’s next for East?
“We have a pretty good group coming back next year. You’re always going to lose key players every year — everybody does,” said East’s head coach Bill Haddox. “We’re going to lose Garrett Onderko who is a good football player and the Michael McCutchan boy.
