FAIRMONT —
The 2012 high school football season is winding down to a close.
But there’s still plenty of time for area players to make a difference both in the record books and in the playoff ratings.
North Marion came through with its first victory of the season on Friday when the Huskies defeated Big 10 foe Lincoln.
But the performance of the week goes to Fairmont Senior’s Noah Harmon.
Harmon led the Polar Bears to victory over Grafton with 241 yards rushing on 17 carries and four touchdowns.
Elkins’ L.J. Lawrene also had four TDs in the Tigers’ win over East Fairmont. He rushed for 148 yards on 15 carries and scored three touchdowns. He also returned an interception 93 yards for another score.
