RACHEL — North Marion’s football team remained winless with a 56-7 loss to Robert C. Byrd at Husky Field on Friday night.
Byrd, now 7-1 overall and 6-1 in the Big 10, scored on six of its first seven possessions of the game. The Eagles led 56-0 at halftime.
Tre Cox paced RCB with 91 yards and three first-half touchdowns. In all, the team had 425 yards of total offense.
Ryan Elliott led North (0-8, 0-7) with 100 yards rushing, including a one-yard TD run in the third period.
North looks for win No. 1 of 2012 on Friday when it visits Lincoln
