Fairmont Senior’s wrestling team ran its dual match record to 25-10 by sweeping a quad at Bridgeport Wednesday.
The Polar Bears, whose wrestlers went a combined 34-7 on the night, rolled past Elkins (78-6), Lewis County (60-17) and the host Indians (60-21).
In all, six Fairmont Senior wrestlers went 3-0. Those included Austin Patterson (113/120 pounds), Brent Wyne (126), Anthony Alvaro (132/138), Vinnie Libonati (182), Jaron Summers (195) and Vincent Delligatti (220).
Colin Masters (106/113), Tyron Lodge (138/145), Braden Mick (145/152) and Denzel Pitts (285) each went 2-1, while Joel Garcia (132/138) and Noah Harmon (170) both finished 2-0.
Also winning single matches for the Polar Bears were Michael Parker (152), Kyle Evans (170), Chris Carvillano (106/113) and Josey Heaney (160).

North Marion battled, but couldn’t break through Wednesday night in a 63-6 loss at No. 1 Parkersburg South.
The Patriots, who have won three straight Class AAA state titles, recorded seven pins on the evening. They also won single matches by technical fall and major decision.
The Huskies won two matches. Josh Bombard rolled to a 3-0 win over Stewart Morris at 152, while heavyweight Tyler Phillips ran his season record to 36-1 with a 3-1 decision against Thomas Hall.

All three county schools moved up a spot in the wvmat.com Class AAA state rankings released earlier this week.
North Marion is now ranked seventh, while East Fairmont is eighth and North Marion ninth.
Individually, 20 county wrestlers are ranked. They are as follows:
East Fairmont: Brody Nesselrotte (sixth place, 106 pounds); Hayden Stewart (sixth, 138); Garrett Onderko (eighth, 160); Jesse Roman (third, 170); Cole Valentine (eighth, 195); Logan Bowman (eighth, 285).
Fairmont Senior: Colin Masters (10th, 106); Austin Patterson (fifth, 113); Brent Wyne (10th, 126); Anthony Alvaro (third, 132); Jaron Summers (seventh, 195); Vincent Delligatti (eighth, 220).
North Marion: Trevor Fancher (sixth, 113); Ryan Elliott (seventh, 120); Austin Stanley (seventh, 126); Brooks Russell (fifth, 138); Josh Bombard (fifth, 152); Austin Bland (sixth, 160); Tyler Arnett (seventh, 170); Tyler Phillips (second, 285).
