BRIDGEPORT — The East Fairmont girls’ basketball team couldn’t get its offense going Thursday night in a 43-25 non-conference loss at No. 6 Bridgeport.
The Bees scored four points in the first quarter and just 11 by halftime in losing their third straight game.
In all, East (3-4) had dropped six of its past seven.
“We did some decent things and I saw some positives,” East coach Bill Malone said. “We just have to keep working at it.”
Megan Wilson paced the Bees with seven points, while Abby Steele chipped in six.
Bridgeport’s Kelsey Mullins led all scorers with 11 points.
East returns to the court Tuesday when it visits North Marion.
