FAIRMONT — Fairmont Senior’s Ronnie Retton should be taking the floor tonight against Morgantown with a spot in next week’s state tournament on the line.
Instead, he’ll be watching from the bench in street clothes, the same place he’s been all season after a second knee injury, before the season began, put his junior season on hold.
“It was just another freak accident,” Retton said. “I was working in the gym, trying to get ready for the season (after a previous knee injury). I wish I could be out there but I wish my team the best and will be right beside them on the bench.”
