FAIRMONT —
Jarin Hilson had a game to remember for the Fairmont Senior boys’ basketball team.
In the Polar Bears’ first game of the season against University, Hilson blanked the Hawks’ defense while dropping a career-best 30 points.
Being down in the second half, Hilson tried to bring FSHS back, notching 16 points in the fourth quarter.
Even though the Polar Bears fell 82-67, Hilson’s presence was known the entire game.
Because of his efforts, Hilson is this week’s Times West Virginian Multi-Media Good Sports Player of the Week.
The Polar Bears will be back in action Thursday when they host North Marion at the Woody Williams Armory in Fairmont at 7:30 p.m.
