The streak continues.
North Marion’s girls’ basketball team won its 12th straight game on Wednesday and did so in convincing fashion, rolling to an 83-32 home victory over Oak Glen to begin the Region I, Section 1 tournament.
Next up for the second-seeded Huskies — who haven’t lost in more than a month — is No. 1 Fairmont Senior on Friday at the Woody Williams Armory.
“We have talked about the streak — we just talk about getting better,” North coach Mike Parrish said. “We have to keep the momentum going.”
