FAIRMONT —
Former Fairmont Senior lacrosse standout Morgan Cain was recently honored by the East Coast Conference, as the Seton Hill attacker was named all-league second team.
A sophomore, Cain led the Griffins with 51 goals, a total that also ranked sixth in the ECC.
In all, she was 27th in Division II in goals scored.
Her best game of the season came earlier this month against Bridgeport (Conn.), when Cain scored eight goals and added three assists in a 21-2 blowout victory.
In two years at Seton Hill, Cain has scored 86 goals.
In addition to her scoring prowess, the former Polar Bears all-stater added eight assists this past season, 17 draw controls and ranked fourth on the team with 38 ground balls.
Seton Hill went 7-10 this season, including 4-4 in the ECC.
