FAIRMONT —
In just over two days, high school football season will have begun for Marion County.
All three county schools — East Fairmont, Fairmont Senior and North Marion — will begin practice on Monday, Aug. 2, with hopes of a state title alive and well for all.
High school football players from all over the state will hit the field, some earlier than others, to begin the 2010 season.
The bright lights of East-West Stadium and Husky Field will soon be shining down on Friday nights.
East Fairmont will be looking to reverse last season’s struggles and return to peaks the program saw a few years ago when it came within yard of playing in the Class AAA state title game.
The Bees have talent returning in quarterback Tyler McCutchan, defensive end Jacob Bower, defensive back/receiver Tyler Conaway and running back Travis Nuzum.
