FAIRMONT —
Friday marked the signings of four Fairmont Senior Polar Bears.
Three lacrosse players, Abigail McClung, Allie Fetty and Mackenzie Robinson, along with one in baseball, Tyler Walter, made their final decision in their high school careers while taking their next step into college.
Starting the day off right, McClung went up to the podium with confidence and made her announcement that she was going to West Virginia Wesleyan.
“I’m really excited because it was something that I always wanted to do, but I never expected it to happen,” said McClung. “I decided to play because over these past four years, our coach really made the sport of lacrosse fun. We really enjoyed coming to practice because he made it fun, and therefore we enjoyed the sport. I wanted to continue playing because my high school experience was great.”
