FAIRMONT —
The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears will have a new coach come the start of the 2013 football season.
Coach Jared Mileto has resigned.
“I want to thank the kids for their hard work and their dedication to me,” he said. “I appreciate the time that they gave me.”
While at FSHS, Mileto spent three years at helm and 11 years total with the program.
Mileto compiled a 17-14 record as head coach with the Polar Bears, including a Class AAA playoff appearance during his first season in 2010.
Although Mileto has had back-to-back 5-5 seasons with Fairmont Senior, he was hoping to build off the talent that he was being dealt for the 2013 season.
