Bees hold off Huskies' rally, 28-25

FAIRMONT — East Fairmont's football team withstood a late North Marion rally for a 28-25 victory at East-West Stadium on Friday night.

The Bees moved to 2-3 and 2-2 in Big 10 play, while the Huskies remained winless at 0-6 and 0-5.

East used a big-play offense and a slew of turnovers — the Bees forced six North turnovers, four in the first half — to lead 14-3 at the break.

The Bees made it 21-3 and later 28-11 in the second half before North rallied, cutting the deficit to 28-25 on a Chase Banker touchdown catch with 4:45 remaining in the contest.
