East Fairmont squandered opportunity after opportunity Friday night against the one-win Preston Knights.
East gave up the lead to Preston with 4:29 left in the game, when the Bees were flagged for a horse-collar tackle on a missed 2-point conversion.
The Knights took advantage of the second chance and powered in for the 20-19 victory on Preston’s homecoming night.
