BUCKHANNON —
Still without a win.
North Marion’s football team was defeated by Buckhannon-Uphsur on Friday night, 40-20 at Red Crites Memorial Stadium.
The Huskies played the Bucs tough during the first half, while receiving help from both the offensive and the defensive sides of the ball.
At the end of the first half, North Marion was gaining momentum, while only trailing 25-20.
“We had all the momentum leaving the first half,” said North Marion's head coach Daran Hays. “We were flying around the ball, and our offense was putting up points in bunches.”

‘Heisman curse’ may come to an end
When you hear the term “Heisman Trophy,” you think of Desmond Howard striking the pose in the end zone against Ohio State in the 1991 football season. You think of Tim Tebow’s speech following the loss to Ole Miss. You think of the hail mary from Doug Flutie to Gerard Phelan that gave Boston College the win over the Miami Hurricanes.
