FAIRMONT —
Little by little, Fairmont Senior’s boys’ basketball team is making strides.
Then again, moving foward has been a constant theme all year for these Polar Bears.
Start out 0-2 and suffer a hard-to-handle home loss to a county rival in North Marion? That’s all right; the Polar Bears brushed it off and won their next three.
Take a 10-point loss at Wyoming East just before the New Year? No big deal; just start another winning streak ASAP.
Tuesday’s league game with Lincoln at the Woody Williams Armory simply kept the good vibes going, as the Polar Bears’ rolled to a seventh straight victory, 67-35, and moved to 10-3.
