And it doesn’t matter the sport. Football, basketball — and yes, wrestling too.
Take it from Fairmont Senior wrestling coach Mark Delligatti, someone who has coached and wrestled in his share of Bees-Bears matches.
“No matter what you do, you’ll always remember this,” he said. “You can be a state champion, and you’ll still remember that dual against East Fairmont and North Marion.

Fairmont State head basketball coach today announced the seventh addition to the 2012-13 roster by signing Malik Stith, a transfer from St. John's University. Stith will have one season of eligibility remaining.

The Polar Bears are making their ninth trip to Charleston in the past 10 seasons after a nail-biting, 4-0 win over John Marshall in the Region I final game on Thursday night at Mary Lou Retton Park. -

Condolences streamed in from as far as Texas and Massachusetts as fans and friends gathered Thursday in Morgantown to pay tribute to former West Virginia University football coach Bill Stewart.
