FAIRMONT —
Like much of the 2012 season, Harrison County foes Robert C. Byrd and Bridgeport led the way when the Big 10 recently released its all-conference football teams.
The Eagles and Indians, two of the league’s three playoff participants, combined for 11 first-team all-Big 10 selections.
RCB totaled six first-team picks and had four on offense alone, not including the conference Player of the Year in senior wide receiver Iziah Hill.
Lewis County’s Eddie Vincent, an East Fairmont High School graduate, was named Coach of the Year after leading the Minutemen to an 8-2 regular season and Class AAA state playoff appearance.
