FAIRMONT —
The high school football season is quickly winding down.
Area teams have been on the field for seven weeks, and while it looks like none of the three Marion County teams will make the playoffs, that doesn’t mean the Big 10 is devoid of talent.
Lincoln quarterback Jared Kellar stands out this week with a 355-yard performance on 33-of-55 passing. He also scored a pair of touchdowns for his team on the ground.
His favorite target — Dillon O’Dell — hauled in 16 passes for 177 yards in the Cougars’ loss.
Liberty’s James Pumphrey scored four touchdowns this week, three on the ground and the fourth he took to the house on defense with an interception return.
