FAIRMONT —
Fairmont Senior’s Jarin Hilson rallied the Polar Bears past Bridgeport, 61-54, in an overtime win Saturday.
In the third period, Hilson drilled eight points that brought FSHS back to within two points, 42-40.
Prior to Hilson’s shooting performance, the Indians held an 18-7 scoring edge over the Polar Bears in the third.
When the game was finalized and the Polar Bears were victorious, Hilson ended with 21 points.
For his efforts, Hilson is the latest Times West Virginian Multi-Media Good Sports Player of the Week.
Fairmont Senior will be back in action Tuesday when it hosts Elkins at 7:30 p.m.

In the win, the Polar Bears were led by their ace pitcher in Matt Robbins. -
