FAIRMONT —
Needless to say, Friday was quite the birthday for Noah Harmon.
The Fairmont Senior running back was back from injury. The Polar Bears got a 41-20 win over Grafton. And if that wasn’t enough, he had a career-best day to help the Polar Bears even their season record at 4-4.
In all, Harmon rushed for 241 yards and four touchdowns on just 17 carries against the Bearcats. Of his four scores, three were long-gainers — from 63, 56 and 41 yards — while the last was a one-yard plunge.
For his efforts, Harmon is the latest Times West Virginian Multi-Media Good Sports Player of the Week.
The Polar Bears, winners of two straight, look to keep the streak going Friday when they host state-ranked Bridgeport.
