This week the Big 10 saw one of its marquee games play out at Wayne Jamison Stadium in Bridgeport.
Bridgeport and Robert C. Byrd renewed their rivalry Friday and once again it was the Indians ruling the roost.
The Indians put up 21 first-quarter points en route to a 35-21 win, dealing the Flying Eagles their first loss of the season.
Once again a familiar name tops the list of performances this week — Elkins’ L.J. Lawrence.
The Tigers remained undefeated on the back of Lawrence, who rushed for 238 yards and three touchdowns on six carries.
But he wasn’t the only one with a strong game.

Fairmont Senior High School’s baseball team leveled Braxton County in the Class AA semi-regionals Tuesday evening, 11-0.
