Something’s gotta give.
That is the typical refrain when a pair of winless teams get together, but it might not tell the whole story Friday when 0-3 North Marion heads south to face fellow o-fer club member Buckhannon-Upshur.
Yes, something has to give. Yes, someone has to win. But in the case of both, there’s some who believe they might not be as bad as the record suggests.
North Marion coach Daran Hays certainly feels that way about the Bucs.
B-U, after all, battled state-ranked Bridgeport in a Week 1 loss (29-14), and seven days later hung with Class AAA University at home for three quarters before taking another defeat (30-7).
