Philip Bragg

Philip Lee Bragg, 50, of Fairmont, died Wednesday (Feb. 3, 2010) at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

He was born July 20, 1959, in Fairmont, a son of William F. and Edith Parrack Bragg of Kingmont.

Philip attended East Fairmont High School and was employed at Smallwood Sanitation. He loved his dogs, Angel and Tinker, liked to hunt and fish, enjoyed watching birds and deer, and loved spending time with his granddaughter Samantha, family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Patty” Bragg; one son, Michael Kyer and his wife Tricia of Carolina; two brothers, Bobby Bragg and his wife Jonnett of Rivesville and Jerry Bragg and his wife Karla of Kingmont; five grandchildren, Taleisha, Laken, Sonny, Ricky and Samantha; one great-grandchild, Hayden; and several nieces and nephews.

At the request of Philip, cremation services were performed. Friends may call at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, from 4-7:30 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Scott and Sheila Hill officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.fordfuneralhomes.com.

    Mildred Ellen Piscitelli, 93, a longtime resident of Fairmont, died Wednesday afternoon (May 5, 2010) at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston. 

    She was born on May 20, 1916, in Rowlesburg, daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Scalise Serian.

    William Wayne Hendershot, 82 of Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday (May 6, 2010) at Crestview Manor at Jane Lew. 

    He was born Jan. 29, 1928, at Myersdale, Pa., a son of the late Samuel and Mary Myers Hendershot.

    Martin Ray Cochran, 74, of Pleasant Valley, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday (May 4, 2010) at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

    He was born in Idamay on Feb. 2, 1936, the last surviving child born to the late John Edward Cochran and Mary Jane Keener Cochran.
