Betty L. Fancher Donini, 67, of Pleasant Valley, passed away Saturday (March 2, 2013) at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born May 16, 1945 in Shinnston, a daughter of the late Raymond and Edith Rowe Fancher.
She was a homemaker and was formerly employed at Cracker Barrel and was currently working at the Comfort Inn in Fairmont. She enjoyed walking, bowling and baby-sitting. She most especially enjoyed her grandchildren, and was affectionately called “Nanni.”
She was also an organ donor.
She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Baker and her husband Brian of Pleasant Valley, and Jennifer Shelton and her boyfriend Shawn Dayton of Pleasant Valley; four grandchildren, Cecil and Raymond Carpenter and Makaila and Darian Shelton; six sisters, Mary Hayhurst, Phyllis Hunt, Jeanie Hunt, Connie Wolfe, Wanda Boyd and Susie Donini; one brother, John Fancher; former husband and friend, William F. Donini; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Fancher.
Mrs. Donini has chosen cremation as her final mode of disposition. Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, is assisting the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
