William Lawrence Piscitelli, 41, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday (Dec. 1, 2012) at Ruby Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was born May 24, 1971 in Fairmont, a son of Robert V. Piscitelli Jr. and Linda Cavrich Piscitelli.
Billy was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Fairmont. He was a 1989 graduate of East Fairmont High School. He attended Fairmont State College and graduated from Computer Tech of Fairmont.
Billy enjoyed the outdoors, especially playing golf and fishing. He had previously coached both Little League baseball and youth basketball. He loved spending time with his family and close friends.
Including his parents, he is survived by a sister, Georgeanna and her husband Clint Barry of Temecula, Calif.; brother, Zachary R. Piscitelli of Fairmont; nephews, Nathan and Connor Barry; paternal grandfather, Robert V. Piscitelli Sr.; aunts and uncles, George and his wife Agatha Cavrich of Fairmont, Cindy Cavrich Wochna and her husband Ted of Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Frances and her husband Terry Brake of Fairmont, and Dr. William Paul and his wife Kami Piscitelli of Richmond Va.; and cousins, Lisa and her husband Donnie Wiley, George B. Cavrich, Angeline Wochna, Alex Wochna, Danielle and her husband Greg DeVito, Ryan Brake, Roxanne Brake and Stephanie Piscitelli.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Piscitelli; and maternal grandparents, George and Angeline Urse Cavrich.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Maryland Avenue, Fairmont, at 10 a.m. Thursday with Father Robert Perriello as celebrant.
