Robin Lee Stewart, 49, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday (Nov. 18, 2012) in Fairmont.
He was born in Fairmont on Dec. 2, 1962, a son of Eleanor (Hiley) Stewart of Fairmont and the late Delmas Stewart.
Robin was a self-employed painter by trade. He enjoyed studying family genealogy and building guns.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Jesse Lowery of Colorado; two brothers, Cecil Stewart of Fairmont, and Franklin Stewart and his companion Jennifer of Fairmont; and a sister, Patricia Stewart and her companion Kimberly White of Fairmont.
Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Jeffery Eagle and his wife Tracy of Fairmont, Summer Cutlip and her husband Richie of Farmington, Angel Eagle of Fairmont, Dustin Stewart and his wife Laura of Fairmont, Chelsea Stewart of Fairmont, and Destiny Randell and her husband Stan of Florida; and great-nieces and -nephews, Sydney, Christopher, Cameron, Hunter and Carter.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Elizabeth Cross and Ernest and Mildred Hiley.
Family and friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow at Montana Mines Cemetery in Marion County.
