Anabell Elaine Dean

Anabell Elaine Dean, 56, of Fairmont, passed away Wednesday (Jan. 30, 2013) at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following an extended illness.

She was born in Randolph County on Dec. 6, 1956, a daughter of the late Jess and Vada (Robey) Louk.

Anabell worked at the Madison Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Morgantown where she was a central supply clerk and resident valet.

She was a member of the Welcome Baptist Church in Fairmont. She enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Clyde “Butch” Dean of Fairmont; two sons, Clyde Dean Jr. and Jeremy Dean and his companion Gloria; two daughters, Brenda Wilt and Janie Caston and her husband Tommy, all of Fairmont; and nine grandchildren, Amy Dean, twins, Clyde Dean III and Makyla Dean, Zach Hulderman, Gary Hulderman, Olivia Caston, Thomas Caston III, Jeremiah Dean and Madisen Dean.

Also surviving is a brother, Dan Louk of Fairmont; one sister, Ella Louk of New Jersey; her mother-in-law, Opal Dean; four sisters-in-law, Linda Dean, Rosalee Bass, Katherine Musgrave and Bonnie Ferrell and her husband Harry; a brother-in-law, Dave Dean and his wife Glenda; a good friend and neighbor, Martha Wilt; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John David Dean; six brothers, Ted Louk, Gary Louk, Jessie Louk, Frank Louk, George Louk and Allen Louk; three sisters, Lucille McKinley, Rosemary Louk and Isabell Vedus-Louk; a sister-in-law, Freda Billups; three brothers-in-law, John Bass, Richard Musgrave and Robert Dean; a son-in-law, Wayne Wilt; and her father-in-law, David Dean.

Family and friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m Saturday. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Paul Mitchell officiating.

In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, her body will be cremated following the funeral service and inurnment will follow at Clermont Cemetery in Marion County. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.carpenterandford.com.
