Jeanette Grubb James

Jeanette Grubb James, age 83 of South Hill, Va., and formerly of Fairmont, died Friday (Jan. 25, 2013) in Community Memorial Healthcenter.

She was the widow of Charles W. James and is survived by her daughter, Janet Czerniawski of South Hill, Va.; two sons, Robert M. James of La Crosse, Va., and Danny C. James of South Hill, Va.; a sister, Virginia Dare Knight of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren and a great-grandson.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home with interment in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today from 6-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church, 1642 Smith Cross Roads, South Hill, VA 23970.
