David Kascsak Sr.

David Lee Kascsak Sr., 67, of Warren, Ohio, passed away Saturday (Jan. 19, 2013) at Briarfield at the Ridge Care Center.

David was born Sept. 29, 1945, in Warren, Ohio, the son of George D. and Mary Ann Gayan Kascsak. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

David retired from WCI Steel Co. and was a member of Army & Navy Club No. 252 in Niles, Ohio.

David’s wife, Robin Linn Kascsak, passed away in October 2011.      

David leaves two sons, David Lee (Lori) Kascsak of West Jefferson, Ohio, and Jason A. Kascsak of Warren; a daughter, Lisa L. Frasier of Southington, Ohio; a stepson, Christopher (Amber) Sanchez of Garrettsville, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Lisa Sanchez of Garrettsville, Ohio; three brothers, George R. (Donna Marie) Kascsak of Lordstown, John (Barbara) Kascsak of Champion, and Robert (Kim) Kascsak of Niles, Ohio; three sisters, Loretta (Randy) Welday of Vienna, Rosemarie (Fred) Tolson of Niles, Ohio, and Diane Kascsak of Warren; and 10 grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, David was preceded in death by an infant son, Brian; two brothers, Stephen and Raymond Kascsak; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Kascsak.   

Calling hours will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home in Warren, Ohio.

There will also be calling hours from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont. Burial will follow at Linn Cemetery in Fairmont, where full military honors will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Council Honor Guard.
