Mark Eugene Price, 51, of Fairmont, passed away Friday (Jan. 11, 2013) at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born in Fairview on June 9, 1961, a son of Ronald Eugene and Judith (Malott) Price of Fairview.
Mark was a mechanic by trade. He enjoyed watching television, building and collecting old model cars, and attending family gatherings at his family’s ranch in Fairview.
He is survived by his loving wife of six years, Dolores “Dodie” (Fulk) Price of Fairmont; one daughter, Ryley Price of Sarasota, Fla.; two brothers, Mitch Price of Fairview, and Marty Price and his fiancée Christina of Fairview; two sisters, Marsha Skinner and her husband Aaron of Fairview, and Mercy Ruth and her husband Matt of Fairview; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kayla Price; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Bonnie Malott; his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Indiana Price; and a special uncle, Reed Malott.
In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, his body will be cremated.
Family and friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses for the family.
