Cinda Lee Post, 91, a resident of Wishing Well Manor, Pierpont Center, Fairmont, and formerly of Shinnston, passed away at 4 a.m. Friday (Dec. 28, 2012) at the Pierpont Center.
She was born in Shinnston, Aug. 3, 1921, a daughter of the late Minor B. and Ora Lee Riley Currey. On Aug. 3, 1940, she was married to Hayward L. Post, who preceded her in death, March 31, 2002.
In addition to her parents and husband, also preceding her in death were one sister, Wilma Lindsey and two brothers, Clark and Russell Currey.
Surviving are one sister, Kathryn McCullough, Ohio; three daughters, Brenda J. (Bernard) Ashley of Litchfield, Ohio, Donna L. Post of Shinnston and Janet G. (Wayne) Evans of Hampton, Va.; three sons, Wayne (Colleen) Post of Clayton, Ontario; Leman W. (Jane) Post of Bridgeport and Walter E. (Patricia) Post of Shinnston; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shinnston for 79 years. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of the Pierpont Center for their care and support.
Friends may call at the Perine Funeral Home, Rt. 19 South, Shinnston, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Kevin Nuzum officiating. Interment will follow in the Hepzibah Cemetery, Taylor County.
