Thomas Vincent

Thomas Lee Vincent, 70, of Fairmont, passed away Monday (Dec. 24, 2012) at his home.

He was born in Fairmont on April 13, 1942, a son of the late Arl Lee and Grace May (Linn) Vincent.

Thomas loved listening to music and watching television. He also especially enjoyed visits from Pastor Bob Barker of Victory Baptist Church.

He is survived by one sister, Lillian Mae Morgan and her husband Richard of Fairmont; one brother, Mitchell A. Vincent and his wife Jean of Fairmont; close friends, Margarette Vincent and Dora Criss; and his caregivers, Tracy Fellows and Janelle Morgan.

Family and friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10-11 a.m. Thursday. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Bob Barker officiating. Interment will follow at Glady Creek Cemetery in Marion County.

A memorial service will also be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1620 Fairmont Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554 at a later date.
