Teresa M. Belcastro Rogers, 89, of Fairmont, died Saturday night (Feb. 16, 2013) at her residence.
She was born Aug. 23, 1923 in Chiefton, daughter of the late Pete and Rose Cimino Belcastro.
Teresa retired from Westinghouse with 39 years of service. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Church and was a former member of the Young Democrats Club. Teresa enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and being with family and friends.
She is survived by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Jennie Senkus, and Patricia and Frank Fuscaldo, all of Fairmont. She also is survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Lee Rogers, on June 21, 1993; two brothers, Louis and Sam Belcastro; and brother-in-law, Mike Senkus.
Friends may call at Ross Funeral Home, 801 Fairmont Ave., Fairmont, from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter the Fisherman Church with Father Robert A. Perriello as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. A vigil service led by Deacon David Lester will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
