Carol ‘Annie’ Rizor

Carol Ann “Annie” Rizor, 65, of Grant Town, passed away Sunday (Oct. 28, 2012) in her residence.

She was born Jan. 18, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio, a daughter of the late Kenneth O. and Carol V. Hilbold Huebner.

She is survived by her companion of 27 years, Allen Terry Hamby.

Ms. Rizor was a Baptist by faith. She was a homemaker within her own home. Annie was an avid reader and enjoyed needle work. She loved to bake pies and cakes for those dear to her.

Survivors include her boyfriend and companion of 27 years, Allen Terry Hamby; son, Jeffrey Chad Rizor; brothers, Kevin and his wife Sandy Huebner of Toledo, Ohio, and Carl Huebner of Toledo, Ohio; one grandchild; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Rizor; and her brother, Terrance L. Huebner.

Friends and family may call Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, Second and Jasper streets, Rivesville, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Stanley Merrifield officiating. Cremation services will be held following the funeral services.
