Martha Helen Richardson
Martha Helen Richardson, 83, of Barrackville passed away Sunday (Sept. 30, 2007) at Wishing Well Health Center in Fairmont after an extended illness.
Martha was born Aug. 23, 1924, in Kingwood, daughter of the late Samuel Victor Elliott and Lyda Foreman Elliot.
Martha was a member of Katy Baptist Church where she was very active in the church.
Survivors include her husband, Scott Richardson; four sons and wives, Pat and Barbara Richardson of Monumental, Mitch and Carolyn Richardson of Fairmont, Brad Richardson and Stan Richardson, both of Barrackville; a sister, Katherine Wilburn of Kingwood; six grandchildren, Ben Richardson, Ches Maxwell, Mitchell Richardson, Mary Richardson, Kelly Ash, Drew Richardson; and two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Jocelyn Maxwell.
In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine Richardson; four brothers and four sisters.
Family will receive friends at the Katy Baptist Church today from 1 until 3 p.m. and 4 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday form 9 until 11 a.m. Funeral service will be Tuesday 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Marvin Stalnaker officiating. Burial will follow at the Barrackville Baptist Cemetery. Domico Funeral Home in Fairmont is in charge of arrangements.
