Mary Pantalone

Mary Ward Pantalone, 90, passed away Monday (Feb. 25, 2013).

She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Pantalone, MD; dear mother of Richard A. Pantalone, MD, and Jeanne M. Pantalone; devoted grandmother of Nathaniel, Emily and Julia Pantalone; and sister-in-law of Margaret Pantalone of Fairmont, Col. Julius Pantalone of Salisbury, Md., Eugene A. Pantalone of Clarksburg, Md., and Anna Pantalone Coleman of Palm Coast, Fla.

She was born in Pittsburgh on July 27, 1922, the daughter of the late Sarah and William Ward.

Mrs. Pantalone was the sister of Bernice Ward and John Ward, MD, both of Mount Lebanon, Pa., and the late William Ward Jr.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons Inc., 4900 Centre Ave. at Devonshire Street, Pittsburgh (www.freyvogelfuneralhome.com), from 2-8 p.m. today. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Paul Cathedral at 10 a.m. Saturday.
