Vonda Stevens

Vonda Jean Stevens, 79, of Fairmont, died Tuesday (Jan. 29, 2013) in the Pierpont Center in Fairmont.

She was born July 7, 1933 near Fairview, a daughter of the late Roy R. Tuttle and Ella Conaway Tuttle.

Mrs. Stevens was a devoted homemaker.

She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.

Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Earl P. “Steve” Stevens and his wife Karen of Hundred, and David Stevens and his wife Kathy of Grove Port, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Douglas Stanley, Rebecca Wilson, Melissa Rush, Jonathan Stevens, Stephanie Stevens, Victoria Stevens, Roy Stevens, Aaron Stevens, Adam Stevens, Rachel Salmon and Scott Stevens; two great-granddaughters, Sarah Stanley and Malina Rush; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl P. Stevens, who died Feb. 19, 2011; two brothers, Lester A. Tuttle and Roy K. Tuttle; one sister, Marybelle Tuttle; and two daughters, Deborah Lalene Stanley and Teresa Darlene Stevens.

Friends may call at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, 2013 Pleasant Valley Road, Fairmont, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the church at 1 p.m. with Evangelist Steve Stevens, Evangelist David Stevens and Evangelist Jonathan Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
