Raven Orr

Raven Awlya Orr, 7, of Fairmont, passed away Tuesday (Jan. 22, 2013) at her home in Fairmont.

She was born in Morgantown, a daughter of Troy Lorado Orr and D. Jeanne (White) Orr of Fairmont.

Raven was a loving girl who loved and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, T. Brock Orr and her dog Ethan of Fairmont; her half-sister, Tori Lynette Orr of Pittsburgh; an uncle, Kevin Orr of Charlotte, N.C.; her grandfather, Lewis Orr; a great-aunt, Cheryl Tate; a great-uncle, Carl Tate of Fairmont; a special cousin, Dena Sawitski of Fairmont; cousins, Garland and Adelia Tate-Williams of Stephens City, Va., Jennifer White of Fairmont and Bryce Boyce of Fairmont; as well as several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence Jacob White Sr. and Carolyn Ann White, Rosalyn Orr, Channie Wiseman and Amos Wiseman; an uncle, Awly White; and two aunts, Laura Crandell and Mary White.

In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, her body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1620 Fairmont Ave., Fairmont, on Sunday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. with Elder Ron Hendricks officiating.
