Raven Orr

Raven Awlya Orr, 7, of Fairmont, passed away Tuesday (Jan. 22, 2013) at her home in Fairmont.

She was born in Morgantown, a daughter of Troy Lorado Orr and D. Jeanne (White) Orr of Fairmont.

Raven was a loving girl who loved and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, T. Brock Orr; her dog, Ethan of Fairmont; her half-sister, Tori Lynette Orr of Pittsburgh; an uncle, Kevin Orr of Charlotte, N.C.; a great-aunt, Chryl Tate; a great-uncle, Carl Tate of Fairmont; special cousin, Dena Sawitski of Fairmont; cousins, Adelia Tate-Williams of Stephens City, Va., Jennifer White of Fairmont and Bryce Boyce of Fairmont; as well as several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, her body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1620 Fairmont Ave., Fairmont, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, with Elder Ron Hendricks officiating.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been established at MVB Bank in Fairmont to assist the family with funeral expenses for Raven: MVB Bank c/o D. Jeanne Orr, 301 Virginia Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554.
