Thomas Menefee

Thomas “Tom” Edward Menefee, 70, of Fairmont, passed away Monday (Dec. 31, 2012) at Pierpont Center at Fairmont.

He was born in Fairmont on Dec. 21, 1942, a son of the late Elmer Fay Menefee and Celia Aretta (Hayes) Menefee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ginger (Weaver) Menefee; and a brother, Jerry Menefee.

Tom retired from the Westinghouse Lamp Plant in Fairmont Packing Department after 15 years of service. He much enjoyed bowling and was a member of several local bowling leagues. He loved music.

He is survived by three brothers, John “Mark” Menefee and his wife Patty of Fairview, Richard Menefee and his wife Sandra of Fairmont, and Gary Menefee of Massillon, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, his body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Tom’s family would like to thank the staff of Pierpont Center at Fairmont and Hospice Care for the wonderful care during his illness.
