Draundra Sue Porter, 63, of Mannington and formerly of the Pierpont Center and Golden Living Center, passed away on Wednesday (March 6, 2013) at West Virginia University Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 23, 1949, in Fairmont, daughter of the late William Ray Porter and Edna Pauline Smith Porter of Mannington.
She is survived by three sisters, Dollie Tustin and husband Gary of Mannington, Doretta Bonnell and husband Dave of Mannington, and Darla Porter Wilson of Mannington; several aunts and uncles, Giulia Ice, Geneva Jones, John Smith, Barbara Michael, Salley Gorbey, Bob Porter and Jack Porter; several nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, Draundra was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Rae Porter, and her grandparents, Jim and Ada Smith and Bill and Doll Porter.
Draundra was lovingly cared for at her home by her parents for 62 years. She was loved very much.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington. Funeral services will be held on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Harry Holbert officiating. Burial will follow at the Huey-Thorne Cemetery.
