Mary Corpiel

Mary Corpiel, 95, of Fairmont died Thursday afternoon (Oct. 11, 2012) at her residence.

She was born on Feb. 26, 1917, in Lynn Station, Pa., daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Lyszazak Mehosky.

Mary retired from Westinghouse with 31 years of service. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.

She is survived by one brother, Richard Mehosky of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Edward E. Corpiel; three sisters, Jennie Conforti, Velma Matusky and Eugenia Garris; and two brothers, Benny Mehosky and Ted Mehosky.

Friends may call at Ross Funeral Home, 801 Fairmont Ave., Fairmont, on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday with Deacon David Lester officiating.

Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 407 Jackson St., Fairmont, WV 26554.
