Kenneth Edward Jones, 75, of Fairmont, died Jan. 27, 2013, at his residence.
Kenneth was born April 3, 1937, in Katy, son of the late Hearl Kenneth Jones and Beulah Mae Wells Jones.
Kenneth was a coal miner, retiring from Federal No. 2 Miracle Run.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Margaret E. Vincent Jones; five children, Kenneth Dan Jones of Mannington, Ann Baker of Mannington, Roger Dale Jones of Fairmont, Melvonia Spring Thompson of Fairmont and April Dawn Jones of Fairmont; a brother, William Hurbert Jones of Farmington; three sisters, Ella Frances Sopuch of Farmington, Donna Garrison of Farmington and Jenette Patrick; grandchildren, Emma J. Jones, Hunter R. Jones, Matthew R. Jones, Bethany Jones, Kenneth Thompson, Brian M. Thompson, Evan M. Thompson and wife Haley, Heather E. Thompson, William Jones and Samantha Burroughs.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by a son, Kenneth E. Jones Jr.; a brother, Rev. Hearl Jones; and two sisters, Betty Jones and Rosalie Jones.
The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave., Fairmont on Monday from noon-2 p.m. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Richard Fluharty officiating.
