Margaret Kniceley, 90, of Pinehurst, N.C., formerly of Carolina, passed away Sunday (July 1, 2012) at Moore County Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, N.C., following emergency surgery.
Margaret was born in Lumberton, N.C., on Feb. 14, 1922, to the late Henry and Hannah Prevatte.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Marsha Kniceley, with whom she was residing. She and her daughter recently moved back to North Carolina. Margaret had been an active member of Carolina United Methodist Church, Carolina, until her health began to fail.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Kniceley.
Family and friends may call at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave., Fairmont, from 5-8 pm. Friday. The funeral service will be at Domico Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Saturday with Pastors D.D. Meighen and Danny Blake officiating. Burial will follow next to her husband, Kenneth, at Shinnston Masonic Cemetery.
Special thanks to cousins, Dave and Grace Hannon, during Margaret’s brief stay in Pinehurst.
