Stella Jean Glover, 82, of Lore City, Ohio, passed away Saturday (Dec. 1, 2012) at her home.
She was born April 24, 1930 in Mannington, daughter of the late Otis Lee and Tabitha (Varner) Stull.
Mrs. Glover was a domestic engineer. She played music for more than 20 years with the Fairchild Band at many local nursing homes. She was a member of Center Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carroll Stull.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence, whom she married May 27, 1950; a son, Bruce (Christine) Glover of Quaker City, Ohio; three daughters, Deborah Bunner of Lore City, Ohio, Elaine Beckett of Cambridge, Ohio, and Robin (Lou) Kapolka of Senecaville, Ohio; a sister, Ruby (Furman) Stout of Mannington; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mary Stull of Mannington; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; and cousins.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, 139 S. Ninth St., Cambridge, Ohio 43725. Officiating will be the Rev. Carol Touvell. Burial will follow at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
