FAIRMONT —
Jesse Merl Miklasz, 23, of Fairmont, passed away Friday (June 22, 2012) at his home.
He was born in Fairmont on Aug. 19, 1988, a son of Larry Michael of Clarksburg and Janet (Pratt) Miklasz of Fairmont.
Jesse graduated from East Fairmont High School and was employed in the maintenance department at Superior Laundry.
He loved hunting, fishing, camping in the woods and mountains, and just being outdoors. Jesse had a wonderful sense of humor, a quick wit, a fun personality and was a great person to be around. He was very artistic, enjoyed drawing and music. Most of all he loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Kenneth Miklasz, L.J. Michael, Billy Michael and Barry Michael; a sister, Terry Michael; his uncles, John A. and Bonny Pratt of Morgantown, and Bob Pratt of Fort Valley, Va.; his grandmother and grandfather, Michael and Donna Rogers; a great-aunt, Linda Bell of Fairmont; several nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Pablo Monteon of Fairmont.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert A. Pratt.
In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, his body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
