Patricia Harding

Patricia Ann Harding, 67, of 1547 Johnson Road, Fairmont, Kingmont Community, formerly of Smith Village, Weston, passed away at 2:40 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 9, 2012) at her residence, following an extended illness.

She was born Nov. 19, 1945 in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Orlando and Vera McCartney Ash.

Surviving are one daughter, Rhonda “Penny” Mayo of Weston; two grandchildren, Brandi Nicole Mayo and husband Dustin O’Meara of Weston, and Edwin Lynn “Eddie” Mayo of Weston; one great-grandchild, Tyson Gage O’Meara; one sister, Donna Musgrove and husband Jerry of Fairmont; two nieces who were like daughters, Sharletta “Punkin” Stevenski and husband Chuck of Grafton, and Tracy Heiskell of Kingmont and companion Lou Blockinger; great-nieces and great-nephews, Tiffany, Chuckie and Adam Stevenski, and Ryan Heiskell; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Austin and Aubrey Stevenski, and Tristan Collins; stepdaughters, Debbie Dillion and Tammy Harding, both of Weston, and stepson Bucky Harding of Pennsylvania; and stepgrandchildren, Kasey, Kyle and Junior.

She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Eddie Mayo; one sister, Josephine Ash; one brother, Stanley Van Ash.; and one niece, the late Kathy Ann Satterfield, who was like a daughter.

Patricia was retired from REM Option of Bridgeport, was a member of the board of directors of Sage Brush and was Pentecostal by faith.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister, and enjoyed cooking, baking and dancing.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Hackers Creek Road, Jane Lew. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service with the Rev. Rex Musgrove officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Weston.
